A bad inducer motor on the coldest morning of the year
One Sunday morning, during one of the coldest stretches of the year, a customer's furnace stopped firing. Brandon drove out that morning and worked through the system component by component, testing the igniter, the flame sensor, and the pressure switch, before he found what was actually wrong: a failed inducer motor. Without it pulling exhaust through the heat exchanger, the furnace's safety switch won't let the burners light at all, so the unit just sits there doing nothing.
Marc in the office had the part located by the next morning, and Brandon was back out that same afternoon to fit it. The whole job, diagnosis, sourcing, and repair, closed inside a 36 hour window with a Sunday sitting right in the middle of it. The customer was charged what the job was worth, not an emergency markup for the day of the week.

What actually happens on a heating repair call
Whether it's your furnace or one somebody else installed, a NATE certified technician comes out and tests the system rather than guessing at it: igniter, flame sensor, pressure switch, blower motor, inducer motor, gas valve. We're a Trane Comfort Specialist, but our techs service any make or model, Carrier, Lennox, Rheem, Ruud, Goodman, and the rest.
You get the price before anything gets fixed, and that's the price you pay. Our technicians aren't paid on commission and never will be, so there's no reason for anyone to talk you into a new system when a repair does the job.
Chapter 03
After the repair
Once the heat's back on, we'll tell you plainly if the part that failed is a symptom of something bigger, like a furnace nearing the end of its life, but we won't push a sale on the back of it. If something goes wrong again outside office hours, weekends and holidays included, calling the office routes you straight to the on call technician.
Office hours run Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM for weekend service. A person picks up. No menu, no recording.
