Chapter 01
The furnace sized for the showroom, not the house
A furnace that's oversized for the house it's heating doesn't run longer, it runs less, in short blasts that never let the system settle into steady, efficient operation. Short cycling like that wears out the components that start and stop the burners faster than they should, and it leaves rooms at the far end of the ductwork colder than the ones near the furnace no matter how high the thermostat is turned.
The other half of that same failure mode is the ductwork itself. Sheet metal that isn't sealed at the joints loses conditioned air into the attic or crawlspace before it ever reaches a vent, so the furnace works harder to make up the difference. Mel Southerland built this company on the sheet metal trade, and duct sealing is still part of every installation for exactly that reason.

Designing the system before we build it
We size the furnace to the house it's actually heating, not a stock number off a spec sheet, and walk you through single stage against two stage options so you know what you're choosing between and why. Gas connections, venting, and the plenum all get built to that design, not adapted to fit whatever was already there.
Ductwork gets fabricated and sealed to suit the house, the same trade Mel started in back in 1969. Once the system's in, it gets tuned and tested before anyone leaves the job, gas pressure, airflow, and the thermostat set up and confirmed working.
Chapter 03
Paying for it and keeping it running
Special financing is available year round, with 18, 24, 36, 60, and 72 month terms, subject to approved credit, so a full system replacement doesn't have to happen all at once out of pocket.
Once it's installed, a tune up keeps a new furnace running the way it was designed to, and if anything about the system's performance doesn't look right down the line, the same office number gets you the same technicians who put it in.
