24/7 emergency AC repair

A/C Repair

We're a Trane Comfort Specialist, but the truck rolls on every brand. Upfront pricing, no commission, and a real person answers when you call, day or night.

Chapter 01

The two calls we get the most

A start capacitor is the most common reason a system won't kick on. The compressor or fan motor hums, tries to start, and can't get there. It's a small part and it fails often enough that we carry them on the truck, so most of the time it's diagnosed and swapped the same visit.

The other one is a system that just quits, usually on the hottest weekend of the year or a holiday when nothing else is open. It's rarely one thing, a bad capacitor, a failed contactor, a low charge, a tripped breaker that keeps tripping. We run it down on site rather than guess, and if the part isn't on the truck we go get it.

How we work a service call

We ask what the system is doing before anyone drives out, not to stall you, but because half the time it points us straight at the problem. On site, a technician checks refrigerant pressures, electrical draw, capacitor and contactor condition, and airflow before touching anything, because guessing at parts wastes your money and our time.

You get a real number before any repair starts. Our techs aren't paid commission, so there's no reason to write up a new system when a repair does the job, and no reason to pad the ticket either.

Chapter 03

Weekends, holidays and the brands we cover

Call the office any hour and it routes straight to the on call technician. We've had systems back up and running within a few hours of a holiday weekend breakdown, because we'd rather source the part that night than tell you to wait until Monday.

We service Carrier, Lennox, Rheem, Ruud, Goodman and every other major brand, not just what we sell. If Trane put it in, if a builder put it in, if the last company put it in, we'll work on it.

After the repair

Once the system's running we walk through what actually failed and why, so you're not guessing next summer. If the fix points at an aging system or a repair that's likely to repeat, we'll say so plainly rather than let you find out at the worst possible time.

If you're on one of our maintenance plans, the after hours rate for members is discounted rather than charged at overtime labor, and a bi-annual visit catches most of these failures before they leave you without air.

Archway technicians are NATE certified and not paid on commission, and never will be. The price we quote is the price you pay. Call (618) 234-2810.
